CINDY GAGLE - Director of Sales & Marketing Cindy was previously regional director of sales and marketing (Hawaii) for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, responsible for the Kea Lani Resort Hotel on Maui and the Orchid Hotel on the Big Island of Hawaii.Ms. Gagle has served in sales leadership positions for hotels and resorts in Bermuda, California, Arizona and Hawaii. Earlier in her career she owned and operated a successful restaurant and lounge in Tempe, Arizona.

ROBIN IDE - Director of Sales Robin has more than 25 years of hospitality sales experience in addition to Turtle Bay Resort, including Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa, Sheraton Hawaii Regional Sales, the Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau’s Midwest Regional Sales office, Halekulani Resort, Mary Charles & Associates, and the Naniloa Surf and Kona Surf Hotels on the Big Island. Previously she served as Chairman of the Board of Pacific Asia Travel Association Hawaii Chapter, President of the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association O’ahu Chapter, President of the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association Maui Chapter, and President of the American Business Women’s Association Na Wahine Holomua Chapter. Robin currently serves as a member of the Honolulu Visitors & Convention Bureau’s Meetings, Conventions and Incentives Marketing Committee, and is an active member of Meeting Professionals International, ASAE, PCMA, and SITE, both national as well as local chapter affiliations.

SUE LAING - Senior National Sales Manager Sue has more than 25 years in the hospitality industry and oversees sales activities for Turtle Bay Resort in the Western Region, Midwest Region and the Insurance market across the mainland. She is based in Southern California. Prior to joining Turtle Bay Resort in 2003 Sue was Director of Group Sales for Palmilla Resort, US Director Group Sales Grand Bay Hotel, Western Regional Director Ihilani Resort and Western Regional Director representing five Hyatt Resorts in >Hawaii. She is a member of Meeting Professionals International, Society of Incentive Travel Executives, Financial & Insurance Conference Planners, and Professional Convention Management Association.

PATRICIA VIQUELIA - Leisure Sales Manager Patricia began her career at Turtle Bay Resort in July of 2005. Born and raised on the island of Kauai, she has over 25 years of experience in Hawaii wholesale operations and outside sales. Her responsibilities at Turtle Bay Resort include the wholesale and retail travel agent transient market in the western states.

PURA STEPHEN-MARTINEZ - Catering Sales Manager Pura started her hotel career on Maui in the catering department of the Maui Marriott, Kaanapali Beach, in 1989. From there she joined the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua for its opening. Pura then moved to Oahu and was fortunate enough to still remain with a Maui property, the Westin Maui. Westin was her first entry into Sales and she worked specifically with the Japanese Sales Department. From there, Pura took a position in California for Embassy Suites at John Wayne Airport in the capacity as Director of Sales. Missing Hawaii, she returned in 2002 as Director of Sales for a small independent hotel in Waikiki, the Continental Surf Hotel. During her tenure she assumed the position of General Manager. Most recently, Pura married and lives on the North Shore of Oahu and is enjoying her work at Turtle Bay Resort contracting catering events with an emphasis on weddings.

SHERI CHANG - Catering Coordinator Sheri is noted for her extraordinary talent for creativity here at Turtle Bay Resort, where she has been employed as Catering Coordinator since August of 2006. She has contributed to the success of countless events at the resort with her diverse experience, skills and talent. Her first marketing skills and relationship with Turtle Bay began when she obtained a contract with the Hotel to sell her creations in the hotel lobby as well as teach Hawaiiana crafting to hotel guests.
