It’s a Wrap! Las Vegas Finishes Filming at Turtle Bay Resort

Kahuku, HI, August 5, 2006:… It’s a wrap ….. and coming to your television screens this coming October 20th and 27th !

Turtle Bay Resort served as the filming location for the popular Las Vegas television show this past week. The countless hours of effort and planning paid off as guests were not inconvenienced while the crew and talent of approximately 60 people took over parts of the resort for four days in order to obtain all of the footage the director needed for the show.

Las Vegas is a dramatic television series about a team of people working in a Las Vegas casino called "Montecito Resort and Casino", dealing with issues that arise within the working environment, be it valet parking, restaurant management or casino security. The first season began airing on NBC in September, 2003. This week a “sister” hotel was created at Turtle Bay Resort, which will be in a two part 4th Season Opener, currently scheduled to premier on NBC TV on October 20th and October 27th.

For the trivia buff, the actual set of the “Montecito Resort and Casino” is located at Culver Studios, in Culver City, California; these are the same set of studios where “Gone with the Wind” was filmed. The Season 3 set of Las Vegas has been said to be the biggest set for a TV show ever. This powerful NBC hit should give some added exposure to the Turtle Bay Resort as people search to find out where the “Hawai‘i” hotel is located. And, with a new “Montecito Resort” hotel now established in Hawai‘i at Turtle Bay Resort…..are more episodes to come?
