Meet  The  Pro:  Diego  Miranda Tennis Teaching Professional & Exercise Trainer

Diego Miranda started his tennis career at the age of 10 in his home country of Brazil.  When Diego turned 11 he made the decision to eliminate a promising soccer career and focus exclusively on tennis.  He was also encouraged through a neighbor and a cousin who played competitively. This was an important connection for Mr. Miranda to relate to, as he would coach and play competitively throughout his life. He trained full time at Dynamis Tennis Center in Belo Horizonte Brazil, along with other world top ranked players like Bruno Soares, Andre Sa and Marcelo Melo. In his first year on the junior tour Diego was doubles finalist in the Brazilian National Tournament. At the age of 14 he was top 4 in singles in the Brazilian National tournament. At 16, he won the Brazilian National Doubles Championship. At the age of 17 Diego was already playing ATP (professional) tournaments, even before deciding to play top – level collegiate tennis. During his first year of competitive ATP success, Mr. Miranda came to the US by invitation, to train at Lakewood Racket Club where he won one of the National USTA tournaments.
