Are you ready for a mangolicious cocktail? Super sweet and juicy, mangos are more than a delicious fruit; they are also a superfood.
Studies show the fruit may help with a wide range of conditions, from obesity to poor digestion. The first plants were brought from India and the Philippines to Hawaii around 1824. Since then, they’ve been a favorite among locals and visitors.
We serve up fresh mango drinks at our pool bar every day. In this Thirsty Thursday edition, we’re sharing the aloha with this mangolicious margarita you can try at home.
- 1 ¼ oz Jose Cuervo Silver Tequila
- ¾ oz Triple Sec
- 1 oz house made sweet and sour (sweet and sour mix made with 1 cup sugar, 1 cup fresh lime juice and 1 cup fresh lemon juice)
- 2 oz fresh mango puree
- Two scoops of ice

2. Garnish with a lime and cherry.
