Humpback whales visit the waters along Turtle Bay Resort beginning each year in November and can be seen through April, with the peak of the season being from January to March.  Turtle Bay is pleased to work with the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary, which protects the winter breeding, calving and nursing range of the largest remaining population of the endangered humpback whale.
