Danna Holck - General Manager
A native of Hawaii, Danna Holck returns to Oahu after two decades on the mainland and in Puerto Rico, serving most recently as general manager for Rio Mar Beach Resort & Spa in Rio Grande. Ms. Holck has held numerous general manager and executive-level positions at major brand properties in resort destinations throughout the United States. She began her career in hospitality sales and marketing at hotels in California, Hawaii and Florida.
"This is a full-circle career trajectory for me," said Ms. Holck, referring to her return home to Hawaii. "I'm looking forward to working with my team at Turtle Bay Resort and to reconnecting with my kama'aina friends of many, many, years. It's good to be home!"
Danna Holck, who is of Hawaiian, Japanese and Norwegian descent, was born and raised in Kailua, Hawaii, on Oahu. Ms. Holck grew up in a military family -- her father was a soldier with the U.S. military's most highly decorated unit, the 442nd Infantry. She embraced the traditional values of her native Hawaii, including dancing the hula from age 5 and dreaming of becoming a professional hula dancer. Ms. Holck, who is trained in judo and jujitsu, attended the University of Hawaii, School of Travel Industry Management. She is relocating to Kahuku.
Jeffery R. Perkins - Resort Manager
Jeffrey Perkins was previously the director of housekeeping for the St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort in Puerto Rico, which was awarded Five Diamonds during his tenure there.Prior to this, he held the title of director of rooms for the Trump Ocean Club International Hotel & Tower, Panama City, Panama. He has held leadership roles for major hospitality brands throughout his career, including The Ritz Carlton.He has served at landmark resorts in California, Florida, Michigan, Virginia and Puerto Rico.Mr. Perkins is a graduate of Northern Virginia College with a Bachelors degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management and Business Management.Additionally, he attended Davis and Elkins College in West Virginia.He has relocated to Oahu’s North Shore.
Byran Ashlock - Hotel Manager
Bryan Ashlock joined us in 2012 as Hotel Manager in charge of the Food & Beverage operation overseeing our F&B outlets, Catering/Conference Services, Culinary team, and Room Service.
Bryan most recently joins us from the Starwood Corporation where he was an employee for over 30 years. He comes from the Sheraton Maui where he has been Executive Chef, and Food & Beverage Director for over 14 years. He was Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and Sous Chef at the Sheraton Moana, Sheraton Waikiki, Sheraton Moloka’i, Sheraton Waikoloa, New Ohtani in Tokyo, Japan and Sheraton Hong Kong where he served as an apprentice.
He received the senior manager of the year award in 2011 and 1994; Manager of the month/quarter in 2011, 2009, 2008, 1993; the Na’ Po’e Pahana Award for F&B in 2003 and 2000, Starwood’s Chairman’s Award for leadership and professionalism in 2000, and IT&T’s highest award for his significant contributions to the company in 1995.
