You will have the opportunity to explore one of O‘ahu’s last intact coastal sand dune systems while also helping restore the area to its natural beauty. KahukuPointis critical habitat for numerous species of endangered and/or endemic wildlife
including ‘Ohai, yellow-faced bees, Hawaiian Monk Seals, and sea turtles.
Please join us for a fun morning that willinclude out-planting of natives such as ‘Ohai, ‘Akoko, ‘Aki‘aki, ‘Akulikuli, Nanea, and Pohuehue, invasive species removal, and a beach cleanup.
The check-in table will be located at the Turtle Bay Resort parking lot next to the Paradise Helicopter sign. After check-in, you will get to enjoy a short hike out to Kahuku Point. Please be sure to wear comfortable clothes, sun protection, and bring a reusable water bottle. Water and snacks will be provided.
