Four Things You Need To Know About Wanderlust

Posted on Fri, 2015/02/27 - 3:55pm by Jeff Mull

On a Friday afternoon, with the warm Pacific sun standing over a vibrant blue ocean, hundreds of wellness enthusiasts from across the world converged on Turtle Bay Resort for the third annual Wanderlust Festival. With tons of amazing music, reinvigorating classes and inspiring talks to cleanse your soul (and of course some deep yoga) on tap for the festival, it’s sure to be a week to remember. Now, before you drop your yoga mat and dive into Wanderlust, we thought we’d provide you with four key things you need to know—and can do—during this year’s festival.

Yoga: While there’s so much more to Wanderlust than yoga, we’d be remiss if we told you there wasn’t a whole lot life-changing yoga classes going down this week. But here’s just one of the great aspects of Wanderlust: there’s something for everyone, regardless of how long you’ve been practicing yoga. Take a gander at this impressive lineup of classes on offer by clicking here and tell us you’re not ready to give it a shot.

Music: The music! Oh the music! In case you missed out on Wanderlust last year, (did we mention that Moby played a set people are still talking about?) this year’s lineup is set to go even harder. Brett Dennin, with his Jack Johnsons soul vibes, and Nahko are going to be dropping some powerful performances, but also keep an eye out for Roothub, DJ HyFi, and many more artists who are sure to keep them feet bouncing and hips moving.

Food: In an age when the world has been saturated in junk food, Turtle Bay has taken a deliberate stance to grow our own food and support local farmers as much as possible. We know it’s not only good for our bodies, but it’s good for our community. That’s why we’re so excited about the unique approach culinary options at this year’s Wanderulst festival. There are specials throughout the hotel so fresh squeezed juice or local greens are never without of reach. Play hard and treat your body to

Adventure: You’re in Hawaii and are having one of the most memorable times of your life at Wanderulst. Between your yoga classes, dance parties, and inspiring Speak Easy sessions, you want to get out and experience all of the amazing outdoor activities that make the North Shore special. Wanderlust and the hotel have worked together to provide special surf sessions, jaw-dropping kayak expeditions, and nature hikes through some of the most serene environments in the world. Life is about living, and we’re living pretty darn good here at Wanderlust on the North Shore. Come join us.
