Farm Tours

Learn our history and discover all the fruits and veggies the country has to offer. Ride through our commercial fields and see what it takes for farmers to put fresh food on our local supermarket shelves. Tours are offered Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 2pm and typically lasts about 1 hour. Includes a sampling of our farm fruits.

Fishing Charters

Hawaii Ocean Adventure Tours offers the only exclusively private fishing charters on the North Shore of Oahu. Enjoy half-day and full-day fishing excursions out of the Haleiwa Harbor located in Historic Haleiwa Town on Oahu's North Shore.

Food Trucks

If you want to taste several unique flavors of the North Shore, you only need to drive 5-7 minutes from your hotel, Turtle Bay Resort to the town of Kahuku, where you will come across the roadside food court. Sure, it’s home to the famous Giovanni’s shrimp truck. But the food court is a smorgasbord of several other local food trucks and stands.

Haleiwa Town

Surfer Magazine named Haleiwa the #1 Surf Town in the world. With sandy white beaches and legendary surf, it’s no surprise the quaint and historic town received such an honor. But it’s not just the surf that makes the town so special. Throw in the residents oozing aloha, one-of-a kind mom and pop shops, art galleries plus unique restaurants and you’ll see the whole amazing picture.

North Shore Bike Path

The famous North Shore bike path is about 3 miles long one way. It starts near the famous Ted's Bakery, passing many famous beaches, food trucks and sites before it ends at Three Tables, which is a beach right before Waimea Bay.

North Shore Eco Tours

Polynesian Cultural Center

Turtle Bay Resort is located a short 10-minute drive from the Polynesian Cultural Center. Known for it's spectacular exhibit of polynesian villages, famous show "Ha: Breath of Life" as well as the most authentic Hawaiian Luau. Puʻu O Mahuka Heiau

Puʻu o Mahuka Heiau is the largest heiau (religious site or temple) on Oʻahu, covering almost 2 acres. This sacred site is located about a 15 minute drive from Turtle Bay Resort and is situated on a ridge with a commanding view of Waimea Valley and the northern shoreline of Oʻahu.

Shark Cage Diving

You will leave from the quaint Haleiwa Boat Harbor and travel 2 miles out to sea to cage dive with these beautiful sharks in their natural habitat. Often on the way you may also encounter Dolphins, Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles, and magnificent Humpback Whales (November through May).

Shrimp Farms

The North Shore is known for its beautiful beaches, epic surf and friendly residents. But did you know it’s also known for its world famous shrimp farms and shrimp trucks? Slingshot Rentals

Waimea Valley & Falls

It is a 150 acre botanical collection that contains more than 5,000 kinds of tropical and subtropical plants including native and endangered Hawaiian plants. Take a casual 1/2 mile walk on a paved path through the botanical garden and historical sites to a 45-foot waterfall and swimming area.
