Posted on Wed, 2016/12/28 - 4:08pm by Jessica Gellert

Mark your calendar! We have a list of our early 2017 key events on Oahu’s North Shore you would be crazy to miss!

Makahiki Kuilima (January 21, 2017 | 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.)

Celebrate the New Year Hawaiian Style with cultural activities & games, live hula and musical performances, local food vendors and artisans plus the first-ever Makahiki Kuilima 5k trail race.

Volcom Pipe Pro (January 29- February 10, 2017)

The 2017 Volcom Pipe Pro, held at the world-famous Banzai Pipeline, is a special event for local Hawaiian competitors. Not only is it run at one of their most treasured and treacherous surf spots, but it is also a gateway event for non-World Tour surfers to compete in the prestigious Pipe Masters in December.  Not to mention the $75,000 prize purse on the line.

Wanderlust O’ahu 2017 (February 23- 26, 2017)

Wanderlust O'ahu is a 4-day celebration of mindful living. Choose your own adventure with multi-level yoga and meditation sessions, mouthwatering organic foods, heart-pumping music, inspiring lectures and workshops, and boundary-pushing outdoor activities. Wander with us and find your true north.

Ragnar Trail Relay (April 21-22, 2017)

Single track trails await you and your team of 8 members (or ultra-team of 4 members). You and your team will conquer a series of three trails or “loops” that start and stop at Ragnar Village, from Friday, into the night, and ending on Saturday. When you’re not running, you’ll experience the party-vibe at Ragnar Village complete with s’mores, hammocks, plush grass, palm trees and magical views. Camp out with your team, or check into our resort that is walking distance to the trails and Ragnar Village.

Not Your Typical Luau – Every Sunday at The Point Sunset & Pool Bar

Every Sunday around sunset, grab a seat by the pool and enjoy an exhilarating Polynesian Showcase.  If you are hungry, order some fresh fare from The Point menu. Make sure to order the legendary Turtle Bay Mai Tai so you feel invincible when the performers call you up to the stage and teach you how to shake and sway your hips Hawaiian style! Live it up, you’re on vacation. It’s not like you are going to see anyone in the crowd again…Right!?

There are more events to come for the remainder of 2017. Be sure to sign-up for our email list, so you are the first to know.
