9th Annual Golf Tournament Raises $118,000 for the Turtle Bay Foundation

Turtle Bay Foundation, the charitable giving arm of Turtle Bay Resort, raised $118,000 to support North Shore and Ko‘olauloa communities through its 9th Annual Golf Tournament and online auction.

“We are excited to focus all our efforts on supporting our deserving North Shore students as they pursue higher education because this is the most important initiative we can do for our community,” said Tom Donovan, vice president and managing director at Turtle Bay Resort. “Mahalo nui loa to our sponsors and everyone who donated the amazing prizes for the online auction and raffle. Thanks to your incredible support, Turtle Bay Foundation surpassed our fundraising goal for the next round of scholarships that we will award in Spring 2023,” added Donovan.

The golf tournament was held at the iconic Arnold Palmer Golf Course on October 20, 2022, with 44 teams representing 40 companies. A team from Kahuku Medical Center claimed victory as the tournament champion.

Since its inception in 2012, the Turtle Bay Foundation has awarded more than $1 million in scholarships and grants to 384 students and 70 nonprofit organizations making a difference on O‘ahu’s North Shore.
