Turtle Bay is not your typical resort. We thirst for adventure. We relish the prospect of uncovering a hidden trail, of surfing a secret peak, of finding our own slice of sand away from the crowds. Here on the North Shore, we don’t count our days; we make our days count. And that’s something that fills us all with a great deal of pride. After all, the North Shore, with its bounty of adventure, requires us to step ever so slightly beyond our comfort zone and into a brighter, and at time more exhilarating, lifestyle. Below, we’re serving up three adventures to make your next North Shore trip one that you’ll never forget.
Two wheels is all you need to tour the exotic trails that snake through Turtle Bay. After learning how to maneuver the Segway (trust us, it’s remarkably easy) you’ll be able to hit the trails with one of our expert guides. On your 90-minute adventure, you’ll be taken to a remote air strip from the Second World War and find a secret beach where you’ll meet sea turtles, and if you’re lucky, a Hawaiian monk seal.

Sunset Trail Ride
Did you know that we have our very own stables right here at the resort? It's true, and with tons of room to explore, the ride (horseback at least) of your life can be found right here on the grounds of our resort. With 12 miles of trails to get your trot on, you'll be surrounded by some of the most mesmorizing vistas in the world. And let's be real: Is there anything more memorable than a horseback ride on the North Shore at sunset? We think not.
Kayak the North Shore
Through the North Shore Guide Post, which is located directly in our lobby, a true North Shore local will take you on a 45-minute kayak tour of one of Oahu’s most northern points, Kawela Bay. From this picturesque slice of paradise, home to dozens of green sea turtles, you’ll have an opportunity to explore a hidden gem of a beach on the North Shore. Between the wealth of sea life on offer and a trip through a secluded beach, you’re destined to be dreaming of this adventure for years to come.
