Turtle Bay encompasses seven Ahupuaʻa, traditional land divisions composed of mountain, farmland, and sea. Native Hawaiians knew how to live sustainably by creating self-sufficient communities that shared in the natural resources. Come along this guided tour to learn about the important Ahupuaʻa designations and the roles they placed in Native Hawaiian societies, while visiting ʻahu markers along the way.

Paniolo-style Lūʻau

At The Ritz-Carlton O‘ahu, Turtle Bay, the highlight of any visit is to experience a Paniolo-style Lūʻau. Our outdoor dinner show pays homage to the Hawaiian cowboy heritage with a delicious feast, featuring a pig roast, fresh salads, and an array of desserts, including the classic s'mores enjoyed around a campfire. Families of all ages can also learn how to throw a lasso rope, weave coconut fronds, and make a lei wristlet.

Enjoy the sunset with a luxury picnic at a secluded and romantic beach. As you arrive, we will set out a charcuterie board, allowing you to immerse yourself in the island lifestyle.

Our host will then provide a professional photography session to capture your unforgettable moments as they unfold. You will receive breathtakingly edited photos within 3-4 days.

We highly recommend ending the experience with a show from one of our performers! You can choose between a guitarist who will serenade you with classic local songs or a fire specialist performing his Siva Afi (FireKnife Dance) tradition.
