Our newest addition to the Turtle Bay golf course family, The Breaks is a 90,000-square-foot 18-hole putting course designed by our PGA golf professional team with the expertise and guidance of our golf course superintendents. The course is located outside the clubhouse, steps away from the golf shop and Lei Lei’s Bar & Grill. This new addition to the Turtle Bay Golf course family is sure to bring fun and an exciting challenge for golfers (and non-golfers) of all ages and abilities.

Why is it called The Breaks?
The course is a collection of natural mounding which reminds us of the different ways the ocean flows at the different surf breaks along the North Shore.
Do I need to make a tee time?
No, a tee time is not required. All you need to do is show up and put your golf ball in the queue.
What are the hours of operation?
The Breaks is open at 10am and closes at dusk. Night use is prohibited.
How much does it cost to play?
$20 per day (unlimited play) & $15 for keiki (children 7-17 years, 6 and under are free)

How many holes, and how long are they?
18 holes. Lengths differ from day to day. Some are short, some are long.

How big is it?
The course has 18 holes and is roughly 90,000 square feet, or 2.1 acres.
Do I need to bring my own putter and golf balls?
If you own your own putter we recommend you bring it. If you don't own a putter, no problem! Turtle Bay will provide putters and golf balls, if needed at no additional charge. We also have right-handed, left-handed and 2 sizes of child putters available.
Can I get snacks or beverages while I play?
Yes. Guests have access to Lei Lei’s Bar and Grill.
How long does it take to play?
It depends on your pace and your group size. Plan for the course to take between 1-1.5 hours to complete.
What do I wear? Are collared shirts and shoes required?
Dress code is casual. A shirt is required but it does not have to have a collar. Footwear is required. We recommend athletic closed-toed shoes, but slippers/sandals are acceptable.
Do I need to know how to golf?
No. The putting course is similar to miniature golf, where it does not require golf knowledge or experience. We designed this course to be fun for beginners and to be a great putting experience for golfers wanting to enhance their putting game.
Is this a child-friendly activity? Is there a minimum age limit?
Yes, this is an activity that is wonderful for families and can accommodate children starting at the age of 5 and up with adult supervision.

What's the maximum group size you can accommodate?
We can accommodate groups up to any size, however, our normal operations can accommodate up to 24 walk-in players at once. ;For larger groups please contact us to schedule a group game.
Do you do birthday parties or team-building events?
Yes, this is the perfect venue for a group event. We are able to reserve the course for special events, such as fundraisers, birthday parties, team building and more. We also have optional food and beverage packages. Please contact us at [email protected] to customize your event.
